-

- When the Tournament commences players are allocated into groups of 4 to commence the first round of competition.
- The group goes to their allocated machine and starts a 4-player game in the player order assigned by the MatchPlay Tournament System.
- When the group has finished their match, a tournament scorekeeper will record the placings (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th).
- The scoring system for each match will be IFPA Standard (7/5/3/1 – 7/4/1).
- A competitor if free to concede a match or end a ball if they desire to do so. However, all balls during a match must be plunged, meaning the machine must be in “game over” state when competitors leave the machine. Competitors are not permitted at any time to turn a machine on/off to reset the machine.
- Collusion between players to manipulate a result is strictly forbidden, and will result in both players being disqualified.

- No competitor at any time shall interfere with another competitor, or manipulate any machine – this will result in instant disqualification from the Tournament.
- “Nudging” is permitted as part of pinball competitive play, however any rough handling of machines during game-play will forfeit the match and in extreme cases result in disqualification.
