RULES & TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Don’t understand the detail, no problem. Remember our Tournament Team will be there on the day to facilitate competition activities.
-
Machines used during the Tournament will be the West Coast Pinball Festival’s dedicated Tournament Bank of 10 pre-selected machines.
- The popular Strikes Knockout format will be used for the Saturday Night Comp.
- Over a number of rounds, players are paired against each other in two-player games.
- Each time a player loses a match, they receive a strike.
- When a player reaches 5 strikes, they are eliminated from the tournament and will not be included in the next round of matches.
- Overall results are determined by the elimination standings, with the ultimate winner being determined as “last player standing”.
- No competitor at any time shall interfere with another competitor, or manipulate any machine – this will result in instant disqualification from the Tournament.
- “Nudging” is permitted as part of pinball competitive play, however any rough handling of machines during game-play will forfeit the match (loss) and in extreme cases result in disqualification.
