RULES & TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Don’t understand the detail, no problem. Remember our Tournament Team will be there on the day to facilitate competition activities.
- Machines for use during the Tournament will be pre-selected by the Tournament Director depending on the total number of registered competitors (max 12 machines).
- Registered competitors are randomly placed into groups of 4 (or 3 in the event of odd numbers).
- Each group is assigned 3-machines at random with each group playing each assigned machine in a multi-player format.
- Competitors score points based on each match result within the group – 1st (7pts), 2nd (5pts), 3rd (3pts), 4th (1pt).
- There are a total of 3 qualifying rounds for competitors to score points, that is each group plays each bank of machines in a round-robin style.
- The top 4 players on overall combined points, progress to the Womens Final.
- The Final round will be played as a 3-machine round, similar to the Qualifying rounds.
- The scoring from the Womens Final round will determine the final podium positions of the Tournament.
- Any ties in the Womens Final will be broken by a single game play-off on a machine chosen at random using a list randomiser. The results of the tie-break play-off will determine the final positions of both players.
- No competitor at any time shall interfere with another competitor, or manipulate any machine – this will result in instant disqualification from the Tournament.
- “Nudging” is permitted as part of pinball competitive play, however any rough handling of machines during game-play will forfeit the match (loss) and in extreme cases result in disqualification.
